Woman Built from Fire

"Some women are lost in fire. Some women are built from it."

Touch

"I will only let you touch me, if your hands are so full of intention, that every brush of your palms feels like you're writing a novel on my skin."

Minutes of Peace...

A picture is worth a thousand words...

Best Seat...

Today... is the best day to start changes. Not tomorrow, not on Mondays, not on New Year's eve... but Today. The present moment. Take a seat an enjoy the moment. Pause... Pause your thoughts. The tick-tack on the clock. The next task or appointment. The daily chores. The people in your life waiting for some type of action from you. Pause. Breathe. Feel your body. Block the sounds and imagine yourself for 5 minutes seating on the chair at the photo below. Your feet on the water. The sound of the waves. The breeze. And the calm and peace surrounding you and feeding your soul. Take 5 minutes of your present to enjoy the best seat... with yourself.

FALL - The Station of Changes

It is so appropriate to start this Journal with a recent picture that I took during a beautiful Fall afternoon while hiking at Harriman State Park, New York.

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”  - Albert Camus
“I loved autumn, the one season of the year that God seemed to have put there just for the beauty of it.” - Lee Maynard

“You expected to be sad in the fall. Part of you died each year when the leaves fell from the trees and their branches were bare against the wind and the cold, wintery light. But you knew there would always be the spring, as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen.” - Ernest Hemingway
